About Sunny Wren Gardens

Welcome to Sunny Wren Gardens, where learning grows naturally. 🌿

I’m Kerri, a homeschool mom and lifelong digger of dirt. I help families turn their backyards into living classrooms, where science, math, writing, and curiosity bloom alongside vegetables and flowers. I show you how learning can be hands-on, simple, and joyful. With a few tools, a little guidance, and your garden as a teacher, your children can learn in ways that stick.

About Kerri

Sunny Wren Gardens - Kerri

I’m Kerri – a wife, homeschooling mom of three, and lifelong lover of all things gardening.

I grew up on a farm and spent many hours outside. I could usually be found running around with the animals, exploring down at the creek, or spending time in the garden. I’ll never forget the summer my mom let me plant whatever I wanted in the flower bed by the door. I chose daisies and the brightest flowers with the coolest name – snapdragons. What kid can resist a name like that?

These days, I spend countless hours in our gardens with my family. Our children have learned so much about God’s creation by spending time in our gardens. There are discoveries to be found wherever you look – from tiny ladybugs, bumpy toads, and nesting birds to emerging seedlings and sunflowers that follow the sun across the sky. There is much to learn and when you plant a garden, you’re blessed with a front row seat.
